The tubing diameter remains the same, meaning that increased power is now forced through tubing that measures less than 2 ¼ inches. Repurposing that muffler helps meet sound restrictions and eases manufacturing processes, but doesn’t extract the most performance out of the GT4 RS.

Our Race Exhaust system measures a full 3 inches from the flanges to our tips, unleashing every bit of character from the 4.0-liter flat-six. However, the OEM tips feature a much smaller diameter inlet, requiring the system to be necked down, which introduces a restriction and reduces overall performance. To extract the most from your GT4 RS, we strongly recommend selecting our high-performance exhaust tips, designed to complement the full 3-inch system without any compromises.
