Bilstein B8 97-05 Porsche 911 (996) Front Twintube Strut Assembly 22-046130

If your ride feels a little bouncy or you can feel clunks in the suspension while it's going over bumps it is likely due to worn strut assemblies and shock absorbers. The purpose of the strut assembly is it acts as a central pivot point for the front suspension while housing the coil spring. It also dampens the compression and rebound of the coil spring as the suspension moves up and down.

About Bilstein B8 Performance Plus

Bilstein shocks and strut perform due to their larger piston area and quality manufacturing. Bilstein shocks eliminate dead spots, and deliver extremely responsive valving for superior performance and handling, including consistent, fade-free damping and shorter braking distance. Made only from the highest quality materials, Bilstein shocks reduced valve fatigue means they last much longer than standard stock replacement components. If you’re looking for a performance lowering shock absorber or strut, the Bilstein B8 Performance Plus is up to the task. Designed to enhance your car’s lowered suspension, Bilstein’s monotube gas pressure technology delivers a sporty ride with remarkable comfort. This class shock is considered by us at FCP as performance upgrade to any shock and is ideal for vehicles with a lowered stance.
